How do I register my team?
Visit the register tab on the top of this website.
Can I sponsor the event & have a team?
Yes! For more information, please contact [email protected] or call (352) 351-8840 ext. 204.
How much chili do I need to prepare?
20 gallons (beans optional) to serve to the public and an additional 64 oz. (no beans) for competition chili
How big is the team booth?
1 booth = 10'x10', 2 booths= 10'x20' (max 2 booths per team)
Is there a power source for teams?
No. Each booth must bring a propane heat source to cook the chili. No electricity and no generators.
What awards are given out?
There are several awards for both the chili competition and the car show.
Chili awards include: Judged Chili, Judged Booth, Morgan von Trapper Spirit Award, People’s Choice Booth, and People’s Choice Chili.
Car show awards include: Pre 90’s Original, Pre 90’s Modified, Modern Original, Modern Modified, Build in Process, People’s Choice, and Best in Show
Can I purchase event tickets in advance?
All tickets can be purchased at the ticket booths located by front gate at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion.
