What is the timeline of events?

1:00-5:00pm  Team Set-up

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1
8:30am  Teams access arena
9:00am  All vehicles out of the area
10:00am GATES OPEN TO PUBLIC
10:30am Booth judging begins
1:00pm  SUBMIT COMPETITION CHILI
2:30pm  People's Choice Voting Ends
3:30pm  AWARD PRESENTATIONS
4:00pm  Breakdown & clean-up begins

How do I register my team?

Click here to register a chili team or a vehicle for the car show or visit the REGISTER tab on this website. 

Can I sponsor the event & have a team?

Yes! For more information, please contact [email protected] or call (352) 351-8840.

How much chili do I need to prepare?

10x10 booths: 20 gallons (beans optional)
20x10 booths: 30 gallons (beans optional)
64 oz. (no beans) for competition chili

How big is the team booth?

1 booth = 10'x10'
2 booths= 10'x20' (max 2 booths per team)

Is there a power source for teams?

No. Each booth must bring a propane heat source to cook the chili. No electricity and no generators.

What awards are given out?

There are several awards for both the chili competition and the car show.
Chili awards include: Chili Judging Award, Booth Judging Award, and Popular Vote.
Car show awards include: Pre 90's Award, Modern Award, People's Choice, and Best in Show.

Can I purchase event tickets in advance?

Yes! Tickets can be purchased via GoFan or at the ticket booths located outside of the front gate at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion on the day of the event.
